General Terms and Conditions for Managed Accommodations
1. Introduction Welcome to the accommodations managed by Pombais - Produtos e Serviços em Meio Rural Lda. By making a reservation or staying at any of our accommodations, the guest agrees to comply with the terms and conditions described below. These terms aim to ensure the proper functioning of all accommodations under our management and to provide the best experience for our clients.
2. Reservations
- Reservations can be made through our website, partner booking platforms, or directly with us.
- During the high season (usually from June 28 to September 6), most accommodations accept only weekly or biweekly bookings, with check-ins and check-outs on Saturdays as the standard. Any exception to this rule must be agreed upon in advance.
- Reservations outside the established criteria may be accepted by the booking system; however, we reserve the right to cancel them if they do not comply with the specified conditions.
- Reservation confirmation will be sent by email once the initial payment has been processed.
3. Payment and Cancellation Policy
- For reservations made through the website, full payment of the stay is required. For direct reservations, a 50% deposit is required to confirm the booking.
- Full payment must be made at least 30 days before the check-in date.
- Cancellations made:
- Up to 30 days before check-in: 50% partial refund.
- Less than 30 days before check-in: no refund.
- Reservations made for high season periods may be non-refundable after confirmation, depending on the accommodation.
4. Check-in and Check-out
- Standard check-in hours are from 17:00, and check-out must be completed by 11:00.
- Changes to check-in and check-out times must be arranged in advance and are subject to availability and potential additional fees.
5. Code of Conduct
- Guests must use the accommodation responsibly and respect neighbors and local rules.
- Smoking is prohibited inside the accommodations.
- Parties or events are not allowed.
- Pets are not allowed.
- Quiet hours must be observed between 22:00 and 08:00 to maintain the tranquility of the neighborhood.
6. Guest Responsibility
- Guests are responsible for any damage caused to the property or its belongings during their stay.
- Any problems or damage must be reported immediately to the accommodation manager.
- Costs arising from repairs or replacements may be charged to the guest.
7. Cleaning Policy
- All accommodations are delivered clean and in ideal conditions for use.
- Additional cleaning services during the stay can be requested for an extra fee.
- Guests are expected to leave the accommodation in a reasonably clean condition after their stay.
8. Privacy Policy
- The personal data provided by guests are treated confidentially and used exclusively for managing reservations and improving our services. Prior identification of all guests will be requested. All local accommodation managers are legally required to notify the Immigration and Borders Service (SEF) of guests of non-Portuguese nationality, in accordance with Article 45 of the Convention Implementing the Schengen Agreement (CISA). This measure aims to monitor the entry and exit of foreigners and ensure greater security for everyone staying in Portugal.
- We do not share personal data with third parties except as required by law.
9. Cancellation by the Accommodation
- We reserve the right to cancel reservations in exceptional cases, such as technical failures or emergencies.
- In such cases, a full refund or an equivalent alternative accommodation will be offered whenever possible.
10. General Provisions
- These terms and conditions are subject to Portuguese law.
- Any disputes will be resolved in the competent courts.
